Santa Claus, a known communist sympathizer, has distributed thousands of Tetris game cartridges to unsuspecting families on Christmas morning. Who will stop this red invasion? The aliens, with a wacky invasion of their own!
In Crytical Bypass, you control a flying saucer skimming the surface of the earth, blasting houses that have been infested by the red enemy, symbolized by a Tetris square block. Additonally, the Russian menace have caught wind of these plans, and are breaking pieces of the Mir space station off to attack you! Oh no!
Aiming in this game is achieved by lining yourself up with the target, but the guns will fire in whatever direction you last pressed, so you have to press once in the direction of whatever you want to shoot at before firing. Active Entertainment assures me that this is completely intuitive, so quit bitching.
You'll know when you reach the end of a level, because the screen will stop scrolling. Nothing will happen, and enemies will still swarm in to attack you -- you need to go into that big grey mound on the right. Again, this is completely intuitive, I assure you.
