A game reviewer since 2003, Dr. Swank has had his grubby mitts in a number of well known and not-so-well known gaming sites such as eToychest, GameXC, and the Australian-based Gamer Within.
In addition to writing for other sites, Brad started SwankWorld.com in early 2003 to get his own voice. SwankWorld became popular for its snarky retro gaming reviews that focused on horrible movie and TV games. Unfortunately, single-handedly running something that looked like a professional gaming site took its toll, and SwankWorld was laid to rest in 2006.
After disbanding SwankWorld and focusing most of his energy on writing for Gamer Within, but the call of writing never died out. Thus, the idea of bringing back those old snarky reviews and merging it with a site dedicated to the worst games ever made came to pass. From that wet, sticky, and otherwise satisfying consumation of creativity Gamescrap was born.
Gamescrap launched on May 11th, 2007 and despite a couple of hold ups, has been going strong ever since. We will not rest until all the evils of the gaming world are revealed.
